Complementary Therapies Nurses’ Interest Group (CTNIG)

1) CTNIG Digest sent to members.

2) CTNIG member was awarded an Advanced Clinical Practice Fellowship (ACPF) from the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO) to spearhead the introduction and integration of Complementary Therapies in an acute care setting.

3) Member survey conducted and results of health care settings in Ontario where Complementary Therapies are offered/ accepted published in newsletter.

4) Notice to members in honor of the Million Nurse Global Caring Field Project launch by the Watson Caring Science Institute January 1, 2010 at 12 pm to support their Million Nurse Global Caring Field Project. Their goal is to connect a million nurses (or more) simultaneously around the globe to create and radiate an energetic field of heart-centered love for self, others and planet earth. This intentional focused experience honors and extends the human caring vibration of nurses into the universal energy field of humanity facilitating healing and health for all.

A series of heart-centered meditations and events led by Dr. Jean Watson and other dignitaries were broadcast around the world.
